Dash cam size

Was wondering what size screen everyone is using on their dash cams. With the distance between the driver and the windshield, I find the 2 1/2 inch screen to be to small, My last one was a Cobra brand which i never cared for and looking to replace but would prefer a larger screen, any suggestions ?

I use a small screen Dashcam in all my vehicles. I have just learned to live with the small screen in the coach. The only time I really need to see it is when I power it on to verify it is setup and functioning. All my Dashcams are the "Aukey" brand. Now, some new Dashcams are incorporating Bluetooth to marry up to your phone so you can see on the phone app what the Dashcam is seeing. I might get one for the coach soon.

A Dash Cam shoots a picture of what is in the windshield...why do you need to see that on a screen? While driving? Or just to aim it prepping to drive?

Now, rest of RV cameras (sides, rear, optionally 360 birds eye view) IS extremely important and needs to be on a big 10 1/2" screen. Ultimately to replace the dated rear view mirrors...

But why do you need to see the Front?

I don't care what size the screen is as I only look at it when I start the coach to make sure it is on. If I want to view any of the videos, I just remove the data card and install it into my laptop.
