dash lights adhesive

On my '06 KS, the illuminating strip for the wiper knob has come loose. Looks like it was stuck on with a clear semi-hardening glob. What should one use to re-glue it? Thanks

If its something that does not need to be accessed in future to be repaired a supper glue may work or just try again some silicone cement.

GOOP will stick to more things than ordinary silicon. Great stuff.
