Your house batteries are dead, youíll have no power inside the coach, and if wired the same as my DS , the gen set wonít start.
With good power from the chassis batteries, you can start the engine, and the coach interior will power up from the alternator.
Has the coach not been plugged into shore power?

Ok , going to need some clarification .

Are you saying the generator runs and you have no 120 volt interior power in the coach and the coach 6 volt batteries aren't being charged ?
By AC ? do you mean 120 volt shore power isn't getting through to the interior of the coach either?
Do you have a multi-meter ?
Have you checked the circuit breakers on the shore power line and at the generator?
This sounds like a auto transfer switch issue , but testing is required to confirm.

Find the inverter/charger and check the circuit breakers on it. If tripped, it will not charge.

If the air conditioner runs, its probably not the auto transfer switch, easy test.

If you find a tripped inverter breaker, reset it and then hold in the boost switch for a minute to get the charger section running.

Most inverter/chargers will not charge dead batteries.

Power

We just got home from a trip and when we hooked up to AC 50 amp supply we lost power to everything inside. Anything that had a clock are timer started to flash on and off. They wouldnít stay on but just a second and go off. Generator would start but no power from it same as the plug in just donít get anything out of it except the flashing lites. My ceiling lites will come on but slides donít work and all plug ins are dead. I can usually figure things out but on this I donít know. Put my slow charger on the 6 volt batteries and it did just like inside kicking off and on. I havenít to check my TS switch yet it is under a slide and canít get to go in. After we got home the slides worked and went out now nothing

OK if the slow charger isn't working on the batteries then you need to remove the batteries for testing .
Are you trying to charge the batteries while they are still connected to the coach wiring ?
A shorted battery can cause all sorts of unusual problems.
Is your coach equipped with the optional 2000 watt inverter ?

Donít know about the inverter but I still had the batteries hooked up. Can I just take the hot cable off and then charge both of them together?

No, split them so you can see if one is shorted. Your charger will not charge a shorted battery.

Batteries

I unhooked the 6 volt batteries hooked the first up to charger started kicking charger the way it was doing stuff inside. Pulled it ou and it Iíd dry so I will put some water in it and see if it will take a charge. My 12 volt batteries show to be holding a charge. If these batteries are bad would they be the cause of my problem ?

If the battery boiled dry while in use , there's a good chance it won't take a charge and needs to be replaced .

That's either a surface charge or you are still hooked to a charger.

Different ways to proceed, here's one:

Unhook battery and either take off the surface charge or let it sit for a few hours or overnight with no load on it. Then take a reading. If it shows fully charged a load test would then be prudent.
