Deadbolt
During Super Bowl one of my guests closed the door to my DS with the deadbolt pin extended. Broke it off. I looked on comnet and Newgle, could not find anything. Does anyone know if this is a replaceable part, or might I have to get a new lock?
Thx in advance for your help.

I replaced my door handle on my 2019 with a chrome one direct from PTL. You might call them and see if they can sell just the pin, otherwise order the chrome assembly.

This Newmar search may have answers or the direction the Redbaron mentioned.

You can also find some recently removed black ones on ebay
But pay attention to the year it came off of. I dont think my 2019 is the same as the 2018, but could be wrong.

Since this deadbolt thread is here, I'd like to ask a question. On our old class C, someone previous installed a stainless finish house type deadbolt above the lock assembly, probably because of a situation similar to yours. It worked great, was a much sturdier locking system than standard, and smoother to operate. Has anyone here done that mod to the door on a Newmar?

Our 2004 MADP has a residential-style deadbolt lock made by Schlage. I always assumed it was factory installed. I never use the electric lock/keypad when outside the coach.

Got the part. The lock assembly is straightforward, bit of a hassle due to rivets. However the local dealer said the lock assembly had to be replaced at a cost of 213.00. Saved $ thanks to IRV2. Glad to be a premium member.

Your lock pin looks the same as on my Anthem. If it has a rod that connects the pin to the lock itself, be sure it it fastened correctly. Had mine replaced by a dealer. Of course they did a sloppy job and when attempting to unlock the deadbolt one morning, the rod fell out and we were locked in the rv. Fortunately I was able to contact the park maintenance who brought the correct tool to remove the lock inner panel and pull the deadbolt pin out.

Same here .... residential keyed deadbolt. It's the only lock I use. I also assume it is original.

Think it was our first trip in the new MH and myself or DW closed the door the dead bolt barely engaged.
Was able to jiggle the door open, ever since then i keep a set of keys for both locks on the toad key ring, that's the set i take when we are away from the coach.

Notice the angle on the end of the deadbolt. That is different than some models. Some have a square head. I believe when redbaron73 or NealC ordered a chrome one, it came with the square end.
I changed mine out to chrome, took about 20 minutes, it really dresses up the door and you're not always trying to clean up the black handle caused by fingerprints. I think it's about $130.00 from PTL.
