Desperately Seeking . . . Beep Source
All, our first post in the Newmar forum, after reading through many other threads containing "beep", and after two lengthy phone calls with Newmar.
We have a frustrating mystery on our hands. It's not preventing our travels, but it is preventing good sleep!
2022 Dutch Star 3709 - roughly 2 months ago (right after service at NIRVC!), we began having an intermittent problem (the best kind, of course). A single beep, sounding virtually identical to the outside door handle numbers for keyless entry, recurring approximately every 5 minutes.
We typically noticed it starting around 11 pm, in cool/cold evenings - we've been in the high 40's most nights. However, it does occasionally happen in daytime, in sunshine, in the 60's - so our first thought of a cold battery probably isn't it. As I write this, it is 11 am in 65 F and sun, so the start time of 11 pm"ish" is probably random. (We don't watch television in the evening - so we're not drowning it out and only just hearing it when it's bedtime.)
I would say it is loudest in the front cockpit area, near the front door - but of course, sound travels, and that isn't very reliable.
We have done the obvious. Changed both smoke detector batteries. Changed every battery in every single thing that has one (even tv remotes!). Charged any and all devices. Shut down the Jetpack to make sure that wasn't it. Fridge was shut. No "sound chip" greeting cards buried in a cabinet (Newmar asked.) We have been on 30-50 amp throughout this time.
Newmar troubleshot with us and asked us to shut off the "salesman switch". That stopped it - so they believe they have isolated it to the 12V system. They sent me outside to see if I could hear it outside, and my answer was yes - so they told us next time, pull the outside fuse for the keyless door entry.
I did that next time, at midnight (sure my neighbors loved my slamming of the basement door). It kept beeping. We have also tried the fuse for the basement doors. Still beeping.
Next Newmar call, we were told to pull the awning fuse in the interior compartment. It kept beeping. (We actually kept this fuse out for a week straight and it still beeped!)
A FB post suggested someone had the same issue with the kitchen Fantastic Fan - so, pulled that fuse. No, kept beeping.
Today, after searching around for some Girard "beep" stuff, we decided to try unplugging the two wind sensor thingies in the large Girard awnings. There didn't appear to be one for the over the door awning so we have not done anything to that one. It is still beeping. Again, every 5 minutes.
While we do have an appointment in August in Nappanee, we really don't want to have to keep shutting off the salesman switch "most" nights - because of course, the maddening thing is that it doesn't happen every night. Plus, when it's in the 40's, we kind of want that floor heat.
Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated. Also - really having trouble figuring out how to post in this forum so if anyone replies and we are slow it is because we haven't figured out how to post/use this system!

Your entry door touchpad could have water in it and that’s causing the beeping. We have had a couple of coaches on the lot doing this. You can remove the four screws holding on the lower section of the handle. This will allow you to access the plug. Unplug this and install the handle back on the coach. Your key fobs may still work. If not, use your keys while you are testing to see if the noise returns. If it doesn’t, replace the touchpad.

We had a similar issue with mysterious beeps and turned out that if anything was left on the induction cooktop in the area of the cooktop control panel, the cooktop (a Furrion dual-element in my case) will beep periodically. It was very faint and hard to localize. You might check whether that’s causing your issue as well.

If your coach has LPG, you would have a LPG sensor which beeps if it is out of date. I don't think your 2022 coach should have an outdated sensor but you never know.

Our Coach's are 10 yrs. apart, but I always had a beep when my door was just at the first latching point, it was a beep from the Trimark system I think letting me know the door is not closed all the way........The only time I close the door tight is when traveling. When it beeps, I hear a relay in the shore power bay closing and opening.......

Sorry I can't help but my DW who's on/visits the Newmar Facebook site reports that some people get beeping when their floor heat is on. This doesn't occur with our rig. This might not help but typically floor heat goes on at night while sleeping?

Thank you - I do keep a lightweight plastic cutting board under the induction covers; will remove that tonight and leave the Newmar covers off to see if that helps.

2019 Newmar New Aire
We had mysterious beeps for two years. Always random intervals. However, our beep was something like a couple short beeps then a long beep.
Took it to Nappanee and they worked on it for hours. Guessing it was something to do with the TriMark stystem. After a week we left Newmar with almost everything repaired except for the beeping.
The next season we were back at Newmar and they had noted that it was an unr solved issue. That day, the tech diagnosed and repaired.
It was a Trimark error code caused by too many resistors in the wiring. He removed several and we are beep free.
So, does your beep sound like someone is pressing a button on the door keypad? It might be the Trimark or wiring.

YES - it sounds exactly like when you press one of the keypad numbers. We are trying to take the handle apart right now as Bobby from NIRVC suggested. Trying is the key word here, lol. We will definitely mention the Trimark thing when we are in Nappanee in August (if we are not committed to a psych ward by then due to this beep!) Thanks so much.

Thanks so much - we did remove the handle but we cannot figure out what you mean by unplugging it? Here is a picture of what we found (no water, but one very rusty screw head under a wad of some goopy stuff). (I THINK I have attached the picture, still struggling with the forum!)
DH is also asking if removing the keyless entry fuse in the outside compartment had no effect, is this something different or separate?

Hmmm - last night we did not have the floor heat on (and beeping commenced at 11:45 pm) - but many of the other nights, we did. Will start to keep some better data going forward - thank you!

You have smoke detectors, but is there also a CO2 detector along the floor.

Thank you - no dishwasher or roof antenna - what are your thoughts on solar controller? We do have quite a bit of solar on the roof but the controllers are in the basement, drivers side, half way back - not really where we are hearing this but again, sound travels.
Can you elaborate on a floor level CO2 detector? We are all electric and were told our smoke detectors have that feature built in to them - I have not seen a separate "thing" at floor level.
