Absolutely, after starting the use I noticed the engine was a little smoother and seemed perkier on starts. Besides with low sulphur fuel extra lubrication of the fuel system never hurts.

Normally I don't add anything with each fill up. When I was pulling a fiver with my F350 I also did not add anything at each fill up.

However, I do add Kleen at certain times. If I am going to be in an area where the temps could possibly get below freezing it gets put in, which is rare anymore. Also, if I am going to sit for 3 months or so in the winter I will add Kleen to my last fill up more for a stabilizer than anything else.

I know when I was pulling with my F350 it would sometimes seem to give me a slight increase in mpg but not much.

Power Service products are the only additive that Cummins recommends for daily use.

Diesel Kleen is made by Power Service. There are two formulas.

I was just looking online, one has antifreeze properties and one doesn’t. Do you notice a increase in performance?

I notice easier starts...always smooth running.
I have been using there regular product ( silver container) for above freezing temps and there anti- freeze product ( white container) for below freeze use and storage in the Northeast for 12 years.....Guess I like it

It does make a difference.
I use the gray bottle in the summer, and white in the winter. The white bottle prevents gelling.
I also use a bottle of marine 2 stroke oil, usually with power service.
ULSD offers little in the way of lubricant values for fuel system parts. Something that the older LSD was good at.
I should add that my truck was designed for use with LSD and doesn’t have a DPF (2005 Duramax).
