Dinette table 'high'

The MA 4309 comes with a U-Dinette and the table is 2-3 inches higher than what we think is normal. This table has no legs and is mounted to the wall using a heavy duty steel set of brackets that run all the way down to the floor. I think I can cut the bottom off these two brackets and just move everything down. And, I think I would re-drill the steel so the mounting brackets are anchored at the same holes in the wall. Has anyone else done this? (Table top is at 32 inches and seat at 19")

It's not an Essex, just a Mountain Aire...

Why not cut the top of shaft, where table top connects, so bottom still rolls as slide moves in or out.

Tx 007 for trying. After I pushed my question, I realized I should have posted a picture. The table is built into the slide wall and the bracket is L shaped so easier to cut at the bottom. My brother does auto-body repair and will take a look. Tx again for trying, from reading all the posts I see you spend a lot of time helping out others! (over 12,000 posts!)

I recently converted the booth dinette to a table/desk combo in my 2007 MADP. As part of the conversion, we purchased 2 freestanding dinette chairs. With the booth seating, our table height was high as you say, but now with the dinette chairs....it is perfect. The booth seating is lower than normal.

We try Dan, I thought you had one of those wrap around seating around table with L bracket to wall.
Glad you got it to your liking.
A post of pictures before and after could be placed in Quick Tips.
