I bought a Sun Joe electric power washer a couple years ago. It’s not the super high pressure that my gas one provides but it is perfect for lighter duty jobs and has been problem free for 4 years now. They sell very good products and support them very very well. Suggest that you look at what they have on their website.

That's exactly how we do it.

1. All water is through CR Spotless.
2. Pressure wash to rinse dirt off.
3. Foam sprayer one side at a time and the top is first.
4. Wash with a very soft brush.
5. No had drying is required

Installed a Northstar stationary electric pressure washer in my shop a few years ago. It combined with Chemical Guys foam cannon, MaryMoppins lambs wool wash pad and the CR spotless rinse I can wash my coach from start to finish in about 1-1/2 hours. Click image for larger version

I know pressure washers are a “guy thing” and of course many follow the advice of Tim “The Tool Man” Taylor and opt for maximum power... But I fail to see the value of hauling out the power washer to rinse the dirt layer off of the motorhome. I have found that after a power wash the vehicle is still covered in road film and you have to wash anyway, so I just go with a good hose end nozzle spray off the top layer of road dirt and go with Wash Wax All.

I use a small electric Ryobi pressure washer and foam cannon works great. Bought at Home Depot.

Absolutely bulletproof. Had it for 15 years now. Had a Husky that lasted for about 18 months before it crapped out, "customer service" sent me a pricy re-build kit. It never worked worth a damn after that. I took it back to HD and loaded all the pieces in a cart and put a "don't buy Husky POS" sign on it.

What do they run in price?

This works wonders - I use the recommended shampoo from Diamond Shield.

I use the pressure washer as a first step to get as much of the dirt off before I use a bush with soap - to reduce the grit that will be rubbed on the finish with the bush.

Then rinse with the pressure washer at the end. That could be done just as well with a hose, but since I have the pressure washer right there ... and Tim the tool man Taylor was right. We like a nice 454 V8 strapped to the pressure washer to really get everything extra clean.

Details...please

I waste so much time trying to move the blob...extension cord, pressure washer, hose, spray gun, car spotless... you have cracked that nut!!!

I am purposely using a smaller pressure washer. No fun taking paint off... How long of a hose do you have? Is there a noticeable prsssure drop thru a long hose? What Model pressure washer are you using.

I can only imagine...not hauling a washer up onto the roof. Just grab the gun and go...If Imcould make it all the ways round the coach and not mess with cords, hoses, hardware...wow...what a pleasure it would be. Heck, I’d wash my coach for the fun of it then.

I use a small Green Works power washer which works well. It's small, light and easy to move around. I've got a left shoulder that gets very unhappy from doing a full manual wash, so the power washer helps considerably. I also supplement with the lamb's wool washer on a pole when needed.
