Do you use one remote for Sony TV and Bose Sound Bar?
Our New Aire has a Sony TV and Bose Solo 5 Sound Bar, each with their own remote. I would like to control the TV and Sound Bar with one remote, preferably the Sony remote. Currently the Bose remote controls the Sound Bar volume and the Sony remote changes TV channels.
Has anyone figured a way to have the Sony remote control the Bose Sound Bar volume? Or, if not, how about having the Bose remote change the Sony TV channels?

The Bose should be able to control the Sony TV from what I read.

Yes, you can easily program the Bose remote to operate the Sony TV. The owners manual for the soundbar should have the remote programming codes and instructions for doing so with any brand of TV. If you don't have the manual, you can get it online by visiting the Bose website.

I use my DirecTv remote for both the Samsung TV and Bose sound bar and my DirecTv receiver.

I have been unsuccessful in my attempts to get the Bose remote control to work with the Sony TV...even after reading the instructions.

I got a harmony remote. Just one for tv, dvd, Apple TV, DTV and Bose.

Is the Harmony remote an IR or a RF? Will it work on a Wally Dish receiver that is RF?

Use a harmony remote at home, but we just picked up our new coach last week so I am busy getting everything configured. Today I set up the Bose remote to control the Sony TV and the Sony DVD player. The configuration was straight forward and worked as outlined in the manual. The Sony remote code is "0000"
