Does anyone actually use the......

flip up desk thingy on the passenger seat? Seems its always in the way when I want to spin the chair. Actually can't remember how many times me or my wife has pinched a finger in this crazy thing!

Took it off, wife is left handed and wouldnít work. Will reinstall when we sell.

On both our Dutch Stars, it was removed in the first day of ownership. For us...it was clunky, my wife had no use for it and it was an ankle biter when coming up the stairs into the coach.

I removed the desk and the bracket on both of our coaches, boxed them up and they went in the rafters for the next owner. I made an insert to cover the hole in the side of the chair on our 2019. You can buy the fabric from Newmar, which I used for a couple other projects.

Mine is bubble wrapped in a Rubbermaid plastic bin stored in the pole barn. Also the heavy bed spread, multiple pillows and the two folding chairs. BTW, Don, nice job on the chair!

Hi - Two things I do immediately when getting a new coach. First, install the hardwired Progressive surge protector and then take the swinging arm finger crusher combo ankle killer and put it in the basement for the next owner.

Maybe the one in our BSS is different but we use it all the time. Itís handy, convenient and unobtrusive. Only problem we ever had with it was when wife dropped her phone down inside and it was a chore retrieving it.

I think the one in the gassers are really nicely made. Isn't yours attached to the engine cover?

On the DP's, it's a 40 pound wood and metal monster made from square tubing. Not a bad idea, just a poorly designed metal contraption.

We removed ours shortly after we got our coach as well. Wife does work while traveling but it just wasn't a good fit for her. Also I hated it so it got removed.

Two bolts and gone to storage. Wife works on laptop while traveling. Thought it was an awesome idea when we bought the coach. But the table was not position properly for laptop work and bounced while driving. She sits in the back in the booth while I drive and everyone is happy!
