Dometic 8700 macerator toilet

just picked up this Dutch Star about 2 weeks ago. About every three days I have to dump the black tank, the toilet red light comes on and shuts both toilets down. I have them set on low water usage. It's going to be hard to dry camp this way. This is my fourth MH and with the other ones I could easily make it seven days. My question, is this normal for this type of toilet. Thanks for your response. Jerry

We have a family of 6, and go about 3 days before we are forced to dump.

Check the position of the sensors, as they may be too low. Does the front gauge show black tank full ?

3 to 4 days is usual for me with the Tecma silence 2. Last coach was a standard pedal flush and we could also go at least a week if not more between dumps. Don't do a lot of dry camping but if we did we have bath and a half so we could use the pedal flush in the half bath only and go longer.

When the toilets red lights come on, the black tank monitor is at 2/3. Tank has never gotten to the full mark yet. Jerry
