I recently had one of my gas pistons fail on my awning. I have a 2014 BAYSTAR and contacted NEWMAR and they sent me the replacement piston. I thought it would be a five minute job (pop the two pins and replace the piston) but the new piston is longer than the older piston when awning is extended. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
