Dometic Thermostat Control

I went to get our rig ready for a trip and noticed the Dometic Thermostat Control was blank. Totally off. I tried to turn it on…nothing. Any ideas to help would be greatly appreciated. We leave on Friday. Thank you

Check ALL the Newmar fuses , sometimes the t'stat has it's own fuse , other times it's powered through the furnace or roof A/C boards.

Once you now fuses are good , remove t'stat from wall and check that the connections haven't come loose.

Hello, before taking anything apart make sure your salesman switch is in the on position. The thermostat is ran by 12 volts and on most rv's the saleman switch that turns the house power on and off in your coach supplies the power to your thermostat. Good Luck

Salesman switch? Is that just the house batteries on/off switch?

Yes " Salesman switch " is a common term for the more correct ; Coach battery disconnect switch " .

If the switch is on ; are any 12 volt interior systems functioning ?
Are the coach batteries charged up ?

I had my thermostat go blank. It was a blown 7.5 amp fuse in the main panel...in my case in the half bath.

My own fault...forgot to pull it when I changed an AC seal and must have touched a couple wires!

So to follow up.. I went to a local RV sales/parts and ordered a new thermostat panel. $220 but it worked! Don’t know how it went bad but it did. So, in 110’ weather, I’m glad it worked. Thanks to all who replied. I learn so much from people on this site. Appreciate you all
