Dometic toilet flush panel

I am 6'3 and have been struggling to "find" the proper place to push on the panels. Here is something I did to ensure 100% success even in the dark. Simply used one of those small felt floor protectors.

I have the same issue, especially at night when you feel around on that pad. This was brought up once before......such a simple fix. I use the clear rubber cabinet bumpers, the size of your fingertip.

We use these. They are small and work very well. Also put one on the microwave hood light.

We used 4 so 75 will last me forever, I'll give them out at the Newmar area of the Tampa RV Show.

I have not seen that backlit panel for sale anywhere? I would like that one better. It shows up as a vacuum flush boating control panel but not for Motorhome use on dometics website. Anyone know anything about the better panel?

Here is the installation manual. It appears to be larger and deeper than the standard. installation_and_operating_manual_62795.pdf

When I called dometic they indicated it was a direct replacement for the existing panel. When I heard the price, I didn't investigate any further.
