Door Bell Chime Power

Was adding a light to the driver overhead cabinet so I can see the switches and things. Not sure y Newmar left that out....

Anyway the doorbell chime has exposed contacts and I must have popped the fuse for that circuit when I was moving things around.

There are no blown fuses in the bath or front drivers side fuse panel and everything else seams to work. I checked the power to chime before and it was good, another head scratcher is y they are not covered with something.

Just another if they can't see it, it doesn't matter thing I suspect.

AS the manual is only good for a paper weight and there are no other documents on the portal or in my bag stating what circuits are coved by what fuse or what location they might be I sent a note to Newmar, can't wait to hear this answer.

TIA

I’ll be watching to see what Newmar’s response is.

Funny to me is that just yesterday, I put a light on that door to be able to see the switches and displays. I put a 3” led puck light on mine powered by 3 AAA batteries that is motion activated when you lift the door. Really simple thing.

Hope you find your problem.

From Mother, I need to go out and check but I did find that the back monitor and radio were out as well :(

Good afternoon,
The doorbell doesn’t have its own dedicated fuse, but it should be wired in with either the navigation or keyless entry on the green colored fuse board in the front basement compartment on the driver’s side (fuse F17 or F20). I’ve attached a complete fuse listing in the attached pdf files, and also a diagram for the Keyless entry system which shows your doorbell should be powered from the F20 fuse.
