DP Door Handles.

While I am not a newbie to RVing or Class A motorhomes I am a newbie to the DP world.
I was accustomed in previous Class A gassers to a crossbar mounted to the screen-door that greatly aided closing the door from the main floor. I find it awkward to reach the handle on the Ventana LE and find myself trying to close the door using the little knob mounted on the plexiglass slide closure. This is not a good practice.
Is there a similar addition to the door to aid grasping and closing of the door for the Ventana? Will the same add-on bar used for a gasser door work?
I am hesitant to procure this with my ignorance showing.
Also what have others done?

Anxious to hear the responses because I have many times banged my hand into the screen and it's not easy to reseat into its grooves.

Got this one solved! Just retract screen all the way up and pull back down...goes right back in grooves.

That's what we bought and it will work fine after you get used to it.

My Dutchstar has a pull handle that is attached to the door and accessible with the slider open. I tried to find it on Comnet but no luck. Give Newmar parts a call and see if it's available. It's a black plastic pull handle. Sorry, I don't have a picture handy.

This is what I installed on the crossbar. (turned sideways)

Command™ Medium Modern Metal Hook

However the two sided tape they provided didn't hold up so I got some two sided heavy duty 3M tape. I got both from HD.

Thanks all! Specific question answered and several good idea options. Now I just have to decide and do.
