Draining the water from system question

I have a 2012 baystar and I use it to ski out of in winter so every weekend we take it to mountain and I want full water, hot water etc. my question is what is the best way to get the water out and I don't really feel like blowing it out with air compressor because I leave the unit with heat on 40 degrees plugged in to 110 and so do I open the hot water heater and the low point drain and that is it? A couple times I did not realize I must have had equalizing pressure by opening another valve so plenty of water was actually left. I have also tried turning water pump on and letting it push the water out of hot water tank? I guess I don't fully understand the plumbing. This past weekend I stopped about 30 miles from home and opened the low point drain, the fresh water valve and the hot water tank and by the time I got home I appeared to be empty but worried I am not. I use it too frequently to winterize and don't feel like lugging the compressor so wondering if anyone has a suggestion ?

If you are maintaining heat in the coach you won't have much to worry about in the water lines with the following steps. Open your FW tank drain, low point drains, and water heater drain while also leaving a faucet open. What I would be concerned about then is the water filter which will not drain so at a minimum, I would empty that. Also, your water pump might freeze so I would recommend running a small amount of antifreeze thru the pump using the winterizing valve and pick-up tube. If you want to be really safe, either run antifreeze thru your plumbing or blow out the lines with air.

When you drain the water heater operate the by-pass valves so any water left in piping will not flow into the HW tank and also shut off the electric element switch which may already off for winterizing.
The low point drain valves will drain most of the water out of piping if all faucets are left open. Fresh water tank has its own valve.
With your heat furnace on make sure you open sink cabinat doors so heat will protect the traps or just pour some anti in them plus the shower trap that may not get the heat.
There will still be water in your toilet valves so hope the furnace is high enough.
The furnace will supply heat to the holding tank area plus you can add a piece of insulation to the water bay floor to help keep heat in that area from furnace.
