Drawer Corners "Sprung"

Curious if anyone else has ever seen this:

My Mountain Aire is only 2 years old, and this summer when the humidity was very high the dresser drawers must've swelled and at least one corner on every dresser drawer separated. I full-time in it so it was not stored.. I spent the summer at the beach where it's very damp.

They don't even appear to have been glued, which surprised me. If the whole built-in is torked in some way, the (flimsy) individual tracks on each drawer would surely absorb any out of plumb issues before the wood popping..

Now that the humidity has gone down and they are a little more flexible I'm going to take them to a carpenter who assures me he can glue, clamp, and reinforce all the corners from the inside so the problem won't recur. $85 per drawer x 6 :(

Thanks.

What he said. There are at least 3 different variations of Tite-bond, get the one that is the most water resistant. There are also ratchet strap type picture frame clamps that allow you to go all the way around the drawer so you get even pressure and can bring those 45 deg. bevels into line. Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/POWERTEC-7101...5640523&sr=8-6
Or just search for picture frame clamp. You can probably get everything you need for the price of fixing one drawer.

Here's a link for the glue, but you may want to get one that is yellow instead of black, your preference, they're all good. https://www.amazon.com/Titebond-1414...s%2C265&sr=8-4

Good luck.
