Dreaded check engine alarm

On my way to Disney I stopped 50 miles out to top off my tank. When I started the motor the check engine light and alarm came on. Crap. I was able to retrieve the code from my dash. On Monday I picked up a couple dozen donuts and took my toad to the Cummins shop in Orlando. The two guys were extremely helpful. I offered to pay for their time. They also showed me the Cummins quick serve site where I could read my own codes. I was able to purchase the sensor I needed and install it once I got back to the RV. Drove back 700 miles with no problems. Too often people treat these service facilities like crap and expect great service. on Monday I will call the manager to express how great their employees are.

Cummins Orlando has been doing my annual service for the last three years. I've been very happy so far. Stacy is a sweetheart. We usually hit them on our way south to our winter home. We'll pull in the afternoon before our appointment, check in and set up on one of their RV sites out behind the shops. They'll come get it at 8AM and I'm usually on my way by lunchtime.
