Driver's seat bent -needs a chiropractor

Purchased a MA recently and the driver's seat bottom is bent to a degree that requires me to sit off the right side to reach the brake and accelerator. It turns out, sitting that way is uncomfortable. The seat back is straight. I looked under the seat for any bent supports but don't see anything wrong. I wonder if maybe there is some amount of adjustment (swivel) in the attachment system to compensate for the seat's left angle? I read threads about hitting the seat with a slide but those posts indicate that it causes one side to be higher than the other, which is not my issue. I did find a curious circular mount underneath and in the middle of the seat. Anyone mess around under the driver's seat? Who can enlighten me on how to fix it? Thank you and enjoy the day!

I think my first reaction would be to pick up the phone and give these guys a call. I'm pretty sure they made it that way so they might (or rather should) be able to point you in the right direction to correct it.

That is one strange problem.....

I believe the MA is using Villa seating.

When I converted a transit bus to a test and demonstration vehicle, I had several seats that were badly bent in a wreck that I wanted to use (budget problems). A local auto upholstery guy took each of them apart, straightened and rewelded as needed, and put them back together as good as new for $50 each. I had to bring the loose seats to him three at a time but that was easy.

Twelve years later, they’re still perfect and the bus is still in use.

The final chapter...

I thought I would close this mystery for those with inquisitive minds. I know some folks are still lying awake at night trying to figure this issue out for me. Ha ha.

As I was in the seat the other day I realized what my problem was and I feel a bit dumb that I didn't diagnose this sooner. The seat frame is square and true, what isn't is the seat cushion. Due to the nature of sliding into the seat, under the steering wheel, the cushion has been pushed to the far left side, deforming the seat bottom. I am now in the process of "retraining" the seat cushion to be in it's original location. Problem Solved!

Thanks to those who weighed in and those who read the post and gave up.

Slide it way to the other side until your pain is treated and then center it
