Drivers Side Mirror

Does anyone have a drivers side mirror that wiggles? It wiggles at the mount to the coach. When stopped you can wiggle the mirror at the mount and the mount and side wiggles as one. It is not loose but also not firmly attached. On the passenger side it is rock solid.

While you have to remove the mirror and arm, the chrome cover comes off the mounting bracket, as it is held on with silicone glue. Once off tighten the mounting screws.

I had the same problem with my coach. I tried and tighten all the areas on the mirror. I think your problem is that the mount for the mirror is not attached to the coach sidewall properly. Newmar worked on mine and it is much better. They reinforced the mirror mount to the coach sidewall and it is a big improvement. Hope this helps. My mirror vibration and movement drove me nuts. Good luck!!!!!

On mine the screws were just lag bolts that went right into the fiberglass and would not just retighten
Had to get stainless 1/4 inch screws, washers, and lock nuts to remount been good for 8000 miles let me know if you need hardware length I know I got spares for the other side

Thanks, how did you get the cover off that covers the mount to the side of the coach. I see the screws on the mirror itself. They were lose a well.

I found the manufactures directions in my case or you can look up by coach number to see what you have
Make it easy on yourself and make some small marks with a sharpie marker to save all your adjustments

I just pried it off as it is held on to the mount with silicon glue.

I have the same problem discussed here. Glad to see there's a solution. To 150man, Where did you "look up by coach number?" Newmar site? Thanks.
