DS Furnace issues

I am trying to track down the thermostat signal going to my Oasis controller. Zone 2 of the furnace is not coming on. I got a wiring diagram and can see where the signal wire is coming in. I have voltage on zone one but nothing on zone 2. I put direct power on the zone 2 fan and confirmed it works.

I called Newmar who said the thermostat wires ran to AC1 and then suggested I check the dip switches on AC2.

Does anyone know where it comes from?

Try turning the bypass switch ON (it's on top of the distribution module zone board). If you get heat in Zone 2 then it usually means the pump has failed; which is very common.

What lights do you have on the zone control board?

This is what mine looks like with the two Oasis heat loops "on".

By AC1 and AC2 do you mean the air conditioners?

My 08 MADP doesn't have a zone 2 for the furnace, just zone 1 and 3. Maybe the same with yours?

This is likely true.
The zone 2 furnace should actually be feeding from your zone 3 thermostat.
Zone 2 on the thermostat does not have a furnace setting
This should be true unless Newmar has made a recent change in the heating system.

OOPS! as Algoma pointed out, you may only have two zones, so the information above would be incorrect for your coach.

I am assuming the 40' DS only has 2 AC units, so zone 1 and zone 2 directly relate to loop 1 and loop 2 in the Oasis system. It is true that the control cable goes from the thermostat to AC1 and then daisy chains to AC2 (and then AC3 if you have one0. I don't really see how the dip switches could be wrong if the coach has been working for the last 4 years. Maybe a fuse somewhere?

In our 40' there are only 2 zones. My zone 2 on the Dometic is zone 4 on Oasis and loop 2 as you mention.

The fuses for the cabin fans are on the distribution module zone board pictured above.

The thermostat wire from zone 1 is wired to zone 1 on the oasis controller. the other is wire to zone 4 on the oasis. When I turn the zone 1 therm to furnace I get power on that wire. Not getting power on the therm wire coming into zone 4. I'm trying to find where the thermostat signals come from.

This is what the sending unit should look like on the wall of your bedroom.
Is that what you are looking for?

Here is a thread that might help explain the wiring between the ACs and the furnace. Also a link to an old manual for troubleshooting.
