DSDP 3836: New Electrical Box in Bay:what wires end here?
Hi, In photo below, does anyone know technical details as to what is connected here in a DutchStar 3836, 2025? I believe it replaced the Peg Board.

Since Newmar has gone to KIB for multiplexing, those are KIB modules for all things multiplexed. Since it’s new for 2025, I haven’t seen any technical documentation for them yet.

Talegaman, call Newmar (800 731 8300) with your coach number and they will send you a schematic that shows what goes where. 2025 has an all new electronic and wire design, cleaning up so many of the excess wires and bundles. Should be an easy ask and fast response from Newmar. Best of luck,

Thanks.
I will definitely reach out to Tech Support should I purchase a 2025 Coach.
In my 2021 DSDP, that area I believe was the peg board for tools.
BTW: I would not expect to have to work that box, but it looks extremely tidy and thought out for consolidating anything emanating from a switch or electrical. Progress - Moving forward to me!

Thanks, Kevin. I didn't realize KIB was a company (thought it was a part name) and acquired by American Technology Components Inc. recently!
Looks like progress cleaning and consolidating electrical junctions.

You are correct, KIB was acquired by American Technology Components, however all their boards carry the original KIB logo, hence the name has become synonymous with ATC components.
Personally, I am glad to see the demise of Silverleaf/KIB interface. Separately, they are both good systems but we’ve run into issues where the finger pointing between the two companies leads to not being able to resolve some interface issues. Hoping the new Newmar partnership will lead to less issues and a single point of contact for multiplex issues, as well as simplifying wiring components.

Those boards replaced the "rat's nest" of multiplex wiring commonly found in the electrical cabinet or in the rear wardrobe of the coach. Yes, you do lose the pegboard but chasing any wiring gremlins should be a whole lot simpler now.
