DSDP 4353 Tow Rating

Looking for a Newmar tag coach with 15K towing capacity. I've read through the brochure for the 4353 model, but no tow capacity is mentioned. Does anyone know if the 450HP DS tag came with this option?

What year are you referring to?

If you are referring to the 2018 models, from the specifications section on the Newmar website, both FL and Spartan chassis have a 15K hitch rating for the 4353

2012 Mountain Aire has a 15K tow rating, according to the Newmar brochure archive

Essex and King Aire too, if your pockets are deep enough

Probably just me but I can't imaging a 40K lb coach pulling a 15K trailer with a 8.9L ISL. I would sure be looking at a ISM minimum.

DutchStars had 10000 pound rated towing through model year 2015. In model year 2016 it was increased to 15000 pounds.

We easily tow a 7500 pound enclosed trailer with our 2015 DS and barely notice it back there. I might want the 500 or 600hp if I was actually towing a 15000 pound stacker or similar load.

I know that most folks have chimed in on their trailer load so I may as well join. When I go the sand dunes, my 20' enclosed trailer with 100 gallons of gas, 30 gallons of water, the dune buggy and tools weighs 9,300 lbs. My coach, a 2016 4369 with a 450 HP ISL hauls the load just fine and I have to force myself to look at the rear camera image to make sure it's still there.
