Question Dumping the Air Bags

I have seen a number of threads talking about "dumping the airbags"... I have no idea how to do this and can't seem to find any button that would allow me to do it. I have a 2014 Newmar Ventana LE 3845. It fills up and when I shut down the coach it will slowly lower itself again but I don't know how to lower it manually.

Most literally have a rocker switch. Check your manual or call the manufacturer.

We also don't have a button for this feature, but just as soon as I push the auto level button, the coach air bags will deflate and the mh will lower by several inches. Our previous coach (Safari Simba) had a button and I had to push it prior to putting down the jacks. I guess they just incorporated both into one.

Thank you, I think that is what I have also. When the auto-level is finished it will let the air out also. I have looked everywhere for a button that would allow me to manually drop the air but couldn't find anything.

There is a Manual dump push button right next to the auto store button on the control pad for your HWH jacks. If you hit the auto level it will dump and then level coach but the manual dump will just dump air and not level.

Our HWH system will dump bags if you auto level but....

We normally use the DUMP button on the same control panel first. The reason is that the coach will roll forward a few inches as the suspension unwinds during the dump. Since we normally put boards under the jacks, it helps to align the boards under the pads.

My Ventana LE doesn't have the same panel. I don't believe LEs are equipped with that option

Interesting, can one of you post a photo of your control panel?

It will help everyone in giving advise down the road.

I have a Ventana with the same system. Atwood Levelegs.
You don't have to auto-level to dump air. Just press the Ext and All buttons at the same tome and the air will dump. The leveling jacks will extend until they just touch the ground.

I usually do this in preparation for those times when I want to manually level, such as on uneven ground.
