Dutch Star 4369--- ready to pull the trigger

Well, after the DW sleeps on it of course. Since we have a minute let me ask this question.
We actually went to the dealer to look at a new Anthem 44RBQ, but the 4369 was sitting right next to it so we where back and forth.
In the end the floor plan of the 4369 seem to work better, except in being the TV behind the sofa? There seems to be just more room in the unit for our dog crates as well as the whole unit is accessible while on the road. The Anthem proofed that the bedroom is not accessible with the slides closed.
Ok. Now to the question,
Your thoughts on the 4369.
What am I missing, the deal is great, and the unit has 1100 miles on it..... I know many of you sit on both sides of the fence, but what am I not looking at?..

Thanks for the feedback !!

What year is it? The 2016 Dutch Star line of coaches has had some front axle weight problems but I think Newmar is handling it as a warranty issue. Very nice coach. Have you taken the factory tour yet? Very cool how they float those huge coaches down the assembly line!

The comfort steer is great also. I wish all coaches had that option.

Best of luck.

We have a 2015 4369 and it is awesome in every respect! The layout is perfect for us. Probably will lose the forward TV in deference to another cabinet, along the way. The coach handles like a dream and we are underweight on all the axles by a comfortable margin. Plenty of storage above and below. We just really like the layout. The bath and a half is excellent. The Sleep Number bed is the way we would have gone anyway. The Clarion Nav system is complicated so we just added the Garmin RV760LMT. Power management is a snap. Heating and cooling is excellent. Plenty of hot water. We will be adding an RO system in a month or so. Freightliner and Newmar have been great to work with but there hasn't been much. Make sure you get dome excellent surge protection.
Good luck to you both! It's a great coach

Love our Dutch Star 4369

We have a 2015 Dutch Star 4369 and absolutely love it! There really isn't anything at all that I would change about the floor plan. Two of us live in it full time and it's perfect for us. We have a sofa on the passenger side and the two recliners with the little chest between them on the driver side. Ours came with the booth dinette but we had the dealer switch it out for the option with a detached table & chairs with a cabinet and we love that, too.

We two have a 4369, it is a 2014 and we absolutely love the floor plan. This is our 4th Dutch Star and by far the best. I agree with all the above comments. The only major problem we have had is the entry door closes harder than I would like.

We live full time in our 2015 DS 4369. We looked for two years before we pulled the trigger and we couldn't be happier with our choice! We have the dual recliners across from the televator and we think this is the absolute best possibility for livability in a Motorhome.

The roomy rear bath configuration also can't be beat.

We are underweight by a safe margin on all axles/wheel positions. Good luck to you!

We also have a 2015 4369 and we were looking at the 44B Anthem, after driving both it was a clear win for Newmar. The bathroom is phenomenal and after digging through all the cracks and crevices went with the Newmar.

Thanks you all for the feedback. The dealer is closed tomorrow so we will finalize our decisions tomorrow.
The dealer states the coach we are looking at has 15K hitch?
That is too strange. I will need to get in there again rose for myself as the chassis manufacturer stated 10"k as did you guys.....

Newmar is who sets the tow capacity by Federal Law since they are the completed vehicle manufacturer.

2015 Brochure (you can see the brochure archive in Resources on newmarcorp.com) indicates 10,000#. They don't specifically call out the hitch capacity. But the delta between the GVWR and GCWR is 10,000# (GVWR is the max coach weight and GCWR is the GVWR plus any tow). So the hitch could be labeled 15K but restricted based on Newmar specs.
