If you go into your battery bay, you'll see three large red cables, running from the batteries to right side wall (as you're looking into the bay). On that wall is a large fuse with a cover over it. Looks like a large bandage. On Magnum inverters, you always disconnect the POSITIVE side of the battery/cable going to the inverter. You can disconnect at the battery, or either side of the fuse.
There will be a couple of telephone style cords plugged into the inverter. They're color coded. Take your phone and snap a couple of photos of which ports they plug into. Disconnect the battery cables and remove.
Once you get it rebuilt and working, it may be a good time to add the improved controller ME-ARC50 inside the coach (panel above driver) and the BMK shunt. These two items give you more information and control of your inverter. Instead of the inverter telling you that the batteries are at 12.7, 12.8, etc, it tells you State of Charge (SOC) which will be in percentages, 80%, 90%, 100% etc.
Both items are relatively easy to install. The ARC50 just replaces the controller you have now. The BMK is mounted to the batteries and plugs into the inverter. There is a post about the BMK and how to install, running now.
