Dutch Star Slide Issue

I got the lock out arm out and only recovered 1 of what I think should be 4 screws and a damaged gasket. The gasket I know will have to come from Newmar but can I purchase the screws elsewhere? I'm also thinking now I best be checking all locking arms on all 4 slides as we lucked out and got it back in for the ride home.

Rob you should be able to get bolts or what ever in that line in local hardware.
This link has a slide thread that I just put together with one thread on what your involved with that may help you, that slide thread is in this one.
The rubber gasket is suppose to keep rain water out of box when slide is out, should be better than the old ones you have now.
The Actuator can be replaced but some people have cleaned the contacts on it and removed the rust, if a 12v lock does not function for allowing slide to operate a gentle tap on box may clear the contact of Actuator to operate.
Good luck in your maintenance problems.
Enjoyed your area back in 2000 great area.

You would be smarter to buy a new one from firgelli.com. Get from Newmar the stroke & ibs.. Buy the premium unit it is much stronger. About $130 ea.

I agree. Would be better off getting a new actuator. Had to replace one of mine last year. Couldn't replace the screws because it had sheared them off.

Thanks guys, great ideas. Replacing it is the direction I will head, thanks for the link and advice. I will update when I get it resolved. As it is in storage will probably take me a few weeks to get it all resolved.
