Dutch Star Sofa with air mattress sleeper
Hello. We currently have a 2017 DS 4369 with the jackknife sofa on the passenger side. We are considering changing out to have the sleeper sofa with air mattress instead. First of all, wondering about opinions of how comfortable the air mattress sleeper is? Would love opinions. I’m guessing it is better than the jackknife sleeper (?). Second, by chance does anybody here want to sell their air mattress sofa sleeper? I see posts where people removed passenger side sofa to replace with cabinets, so maybe someone has a sofa they don’t need? I live in Houston area. Thanks!

I thought the door side sofa was jack knife only? Shorter than the off door side?

Our 2017 4018DS has the air mattress sofa. Very comfortable and easy to assemble.

The passenger side should be around 74" wide and it sits on a 5" wooden platform that is about the actual motor and slide out shaft. Make sure any sofa you get has a 5" notch-out to overcome that and is the proper width. It does not sit flat on the passenger side floor.
I puchased a new fold out sofa from Glastop.com:

Your post made me chuckle. While I have no experience sleeping on the air mattress, I honestly believe anything would be better than sleeping on the jackknife sofa. I would rather sleep on the floor than on the jackknife.
