In the near future, the Dutch Star will be a Newmar High Line coach. This comes with all the privileges and rights afforded high line buyers.

Any chance it is retroactive?

Step aside please. Wasn't I in line ahead of you?
Sheesh! We won't be able to afford a new one.

Heck, sometimes I don't think I can afford this one, especially when I pull into the gas station these days. I believe it is officially cheaper to fly the family to florida than drive.

But it's the life style, the journey, the experience, I keep telling myself.

Is it still on the MMGT chassis or is it going to the K2, like the Mountain Aire recently did? You'd think there'd be some kind of "hardware" change rather than just "software" in order to justify the price increase.

GaryKD is here at North Trail with me sharing my satellite from time to time.
He didn't mention any details, but I'll ask.

Another thought.
Highline coaches get a two year warranty, which is a BIG issue.

With all the news about Aires and Stars and so forth, coupled with the fact the LADB is on hiatus, it's no surprise Newmar is reworking their high line...
One must wonder that, even with the success of the Essex, given it's not an Aire or a Star, what will be it's fate in the years to come?
Only the shadow knows....maybe the roving correspondent can get back there and check it out.......eh Dirk?

Now that I'm out of warranty (non highline DSDP), there are no immediate plans to return.

Dirk, maybe if Newmar came out with the "Twinkle Twinkle Little" Star you'd go highline?
