Dutchstar 4002 Floor Plan?

What is wrong with the Dutchstar's 4002 floor plan? I don't see any owners on here and there is very few of them around at dealers all over North America. Is there a reason that this particular floor plan isn't especially popular?

I would say there's only something Wrong with it if it does not suit your needs. Personally, I think it's near perfect except I would remove the hide a bed and replace it with two recliners.

Newmar builds models with features that they feel may appeal to a variety of owners.
If you like floor plan and want something changed within reason they will do that, as Dennis mentioned.
Brochure and Owners Guide.
Some people like the dinette on patio side of coach, we had that on a 1998 KS our first Newmar.
The kitchen slide plumbing.
They may take feed back and change the plan to suite more owners or drop the floor plan next year than someone may ask the same question next build period and ask why plan was discontinued.
Dealers have the option of putting what coach's they like on their lot and more people may buy the standard floor plans everyone buys.

The recliners I wanted were not an option on the 4002.

We are the proud owners of a 2017 4002. Picked it up at the factory in August with recliners and a computer desk. They both were done as specials. The passenger side dinette was a must have for us.

We're not completely non-existent! We love the dining room on the door/patio side, and I don't think my wife would do without it. There are some modest trade-offs that aren't obvious looking at the floor plan. The full wall and other front slide are a bit narrower mostly because of some engineering issues of the kitchen being on the full wall side. The dining room slide operates similar to the full wall slide (ramps down when it goes out), which means the basement area loses a bit of height in that area.

I would say the one downside for me is the lower compartment doors on the passenger side.
