This happened to me one time trying to leave CG. The FWS would not move and no sound from the pump. I turned the CHASSIS battery disconnect for a minute the back on. I have not had the problem recur for the next 15K miles on multiple trips.

Have you visited HWH's self service manuals yet?
EMERGENCYRETRACT & TOWING INFORMATION(Jacks & Slide-Outs) – HWH® Corporation
I'm not certain the attached image is a match for your model but it should give you a general overview of the HWH system power flow. Both heavy solenoids have to close in order for the motor to run. Both are controlled by the HWH computer, but can be overridden with jumpers if need be.
Check for power at pump motor first, it's possible the main ground has failed or corroded and the motor just can't run. I would not recommend jumping using a wire or such, just to avoid blowing things up. Grab a current limited test probe like an Innova 5420 (available at auto parts stores) and check for power on the hot side, power on the trigger side, ground on the ground side, etc. If you have good battery power, see if you can trigger the master solenoid to close by applying power to the trigger side. Same for pump solenoid. If you can cycle them independently, get someone to push the jack button to see if the trigger side goes live from controller, if so, apply ground to ground side and see if solenoid closes in. Repeat for pump solenoid.

OK - To everyone who commented and all the info you provided -
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!
In the end, after going down a number of HWH and logical test steps, and once I could get to the pump by disconnecting the generator cylinder etc, etc.. I determined the main solenoid had failed - I am going to blame it on the snow/cold/water. When I extended in a rest area I am just glad it let me retract and got me to the destination in St. Peters, Mo.
This morning I bypassed the solenoid (MacGyver'ed it with 1 lead of 2Ga Jumper cable) and had full functionality from panels. Brought in the FWS.
Reconnected the Generator slide and brought it in carefully to not hit jumper cables.
Turned off chassis battery, took jumper out. all good for now.
Only problem is could not get the bumper/generator facia to line up. about ½ inch gap each side. Decided to let it go for today. Will call HWH and see how soon I can get a master solenoid. May just wait until I get back to So. Cal at the weekend after Denver and a meeting in Las Vegas on Friday.
Thanks again!!!! What a great bunch of people!!!

Parts Availability
I've had little help from HWH as it relates to call backs or parts. I have had great success with Chuck Stuart, Stuart Service in Elkhart. All they do is HWH service. He is a great guy and very helpful with troubleshooting. 574-262-0225. I found out about him fro AZPETE.

Glad you could "MacGuyvered" it and got your slides in. A problem with the master solenoid is what I suggested back in Post #18. Here's a document that has part numbers for the two solenoids. You can get them off of Amazon a lot faster and cheaper than HWH, just plug in the part numbers.

Thanks for coming back and give us an update as to what the problem was.
Make sure you replace both solenoid. HWH had told me that they have had a lot of people that buy one and then later end up buying the other one.

You can get the master and the smaller solenoid on Amazon. I have a spare one of each solenoid in the coach.

Thanks All -
I did order new solenoids this week and will have a spare as well. Will make it home without deploying jacks or FWS. Valid system will keep me level enough to get the bed out.
Aligning the front bumper will wait until I get home. (anyone have experience?)
I made my pre-booked PM B appointment at Transwest in Frederick Colorado Wed. morning. On the way across the I-70 I would get an intermittent check engine light and diagnostic warning codes. Nothing else and nothing odd about any chassis system. Did not however get a dreaded DEF warning. Within 10 minutes of getting to a service bay Transwest confirmed a failing DEF head (darn). They did the ECM software patch and ordered a DEF head for me. Other than no DEF level in the dash, I should be good until the new, super-duper and totally improved DEF head (series 8? 9? 42? LOL) comes in. I am thinking 2-4 months... we will see.
Heading for LV in the wee hours to beat it out of Denver before the next snowstorm comes in over the Front Range.
Thanks again all.
Steve
