Anyone have the model no. and name of their Newmar EMS? It was not an option when we ordered the coach and I forgot all about it. Would use it for 30amp service when running two ACs. Thanks

Thanks, Wayne-that's the one I was trying to remember. We had it with a 30 amp coach and it would shut down one of the two AC compressors(when power was exceeding 30 amps) allowing microwave, etc. to work then when power was available turn it back on automatically. Not sure how it works with a 50amp coach but would hope it could be wired to work the same way.

Just read the manual-could be an interesting installation!

It does work the same way. It automatically comes on at 50 amp or 30 amp which ever your plugged into. If you want 20 amp you can manually drop it down to that too. It has four items it "sheds" if you exceed the power supply. You would be able to wire them to whatever you wanted. Mine is set to shed the block heater first, then the water heater, then rear A/C, and finally the front A/C. Then they automatically come back on when the power permits. I hope your an electrician because it does look involved to add on. Good Luck!
