is PB Blaster a good oil to use?

Just fine. Have removed two exhaust manifolds over the last 20 years, one on a Caterpillar 3116, one of a Cummins ISL. By soaking the bolts and being GENTLE/working them, have never broken a bolt.

Either use a strong magnet to see if you can locate those bolts or pull back the carpet on one end to see if they are there.

New... check corners under carpet on raised floor, about a few inches in on both sides. On yours, the corner on the raised wood will be where the engine door ends. Not the complete lenght of that raised floor.

Nice trick! Found this in seconds.... 2 phillips head bolts flush into the carpet. removed and access granted!!

Here’s a very simple tip to finding the screws that hold the access panel use a strong magnet. Run it around the perimeter of the hatch. On my 08 MADP I believe it’s 8 screws that hold it down.
