Engine access on ventana

Hello

Can anyone tell me how to access the engine from in side the motorhome. I have a 36 ft Ventana with 3 slides. I assume the entry may be from closet area in bedroom.

Thanks for your help allen

If yours is the same as ours .... you should be able to see the mounting hardware for the removeable panels in the floor. Between the bed and the closet you should have a step. It is the step that is removed to gain access to the motor.

After we purchased ours I started peeking around and after a while I was looking at the top of the motor. If that is the way you need to get to something .... I hope you like standing on your head!!!!!

What do you need to do to the engine?

Hi I am hoping to see if there is a fuel filter mounted on the engine at that point that is accessable. I know of the filter /seperator at rear of coach' It is my understanding another is mounted on the engine as well. ??? Or perhaps the question should be--Where are the fuel filters located on Cumminings C7 "06" ? Thanks Allen

Both of my Ventana fuel filters are underneath on the driver's side.

I was not looking for anything in particular. What I saw was a very dusty motor. Did any manuals come with your motor home? Ours has a book on just the cat. engine. I could look in ours for your answer if you don't have one.

Thank you for the offer to review your manual. I found the access lid after following the comments of others. The lid is part of the step between the bed and closet and the base of the cabinet. A decorative face covering held on by velcro is pulled off This gives access to addition screws on the base of the bedroom closet. After removing the 4 screws on the cabinet base and the two on the step a single L shaped lid can be lifted out. This gives access to the top of the engine.

Now what.!!! My goal was to gain access to the fuel filter (cat 1R0751)at that access point Any experience with changing this filter?. There is also access from under the coach. What is the better approach, top or bottom or forget it and bring it in to have it done????? Thanks again for your help. Allen

Sorry, my Ventana has a Cummins ISB, and the fuel filters are down low on the driver's side. You would change them from underneath.

Have you tried looking on one of the main side rails of chassis for fuel filter.
