The engine brake shuts down below 15mph. I don't know if you can test it while stationary. Those switches rarely go bad. I'm thinking you may have an issue with the engine brake electronics. A cheap check before taking it to a shop, buy a new switch from Carling, usually about $25.00.

Thanks for the input Don, that’s my thought as well. Inexpensive way to eliminate switch from the list of suspects.
With 81 versions of L26D1 I will need a more definitive part # before I order one. 9 spade connections should narrow it down a bit.
I lost the high side of the switch while underway. I experienced a momentary electrical glitch just a few seconds. All warning lights came on,buzzers sounding off, cruise and Jake disengaged, engine stayed on line. Moments later all warning lights, buzzers went back to normal. Was able to engage cruise again. Incident triggered CEL which went out after a shutdown and restart. Only system not working now is high side of engine brake.
All fuses marked engine brake are good, haven’t checked the 3 relays yet, can’t get them loose!
