Engine light with !
I own a Ventana LE 4037 and keep getting regular and exclamation engine lights. Stoops replaced engine air filter once. Happening again. Any ideas as to the possible causes?

What year and what engine? Did 'Stoops' give you any other information? Did he think that the filter change would cure the issue? What does your engine manual say to do when the CEL with exclamation comes on? When the CEL comes on, it usually sets a code in the ECU that a code reader can identify.
I wouldn't begin to guess what the issue is the light is warning you of, I suggest you either educate yourself or take it to a shop that handles your engine.

From the manual...
Grabbed the wrong picture the first time.
Where is the light?

Is it happening while in slow city traffic or while driving highway speeds?

Scan Gauge or Readings
Good day DH5185,
Your choices are the following:
1. Read the owners manual to find out what "code" was set. These maybe Freightliner codes. You will then need to call Freightliner to find out the Cummins engine code.
2. Buy yourself a Scangauge D. This will directly give you the error code.
3. Take it to a reputable diesel shop for analysis.
Best Regards
Dutch Master

Both times in the hills of W. Va. Lights stayed on at all speeds. Wonder if rock guard contributes to air filter being especially dirty. That’s what Stoops figured it was the first time I took it in to the shop. It’s there with them right now, too.

At Camp Freightliner the catalytic converter and the warning lights associated with it was discussed heavily. I believe these are the lights for it. Have you spent a lot of time idling or in heavy/slow city traffic over the past year. If so you catalytic converter may be bad. The first light will come on and then a little later the second light would come on basically telling you to stop. During class it was discussed about not pulling the motorhome over high grass or asphalt because the converter would be so hot it would catch them on fire.
I had the #1 light come on once while in slow city traffic. I knew what to do with it and it went out right away.

I don’t drive on grass and asphalt is unavoidable.
