Engine Oil Overfill

Well, it looks like the garage that changed my oil this week filled the shallow sump with 24 qts instead of 22 qts. I thought before arriving that I might should ask that question but, obviously forgot to ask before leaving. After arriving back at the storage unit, I noticed quite a bit of oil had escaped through the vent pipe and was dripping down the hitch and "mud flap". Not to mention spatter further up the rear the coach. I have a Cat 3126 with a shallow sump. It was about a 40 mile trip back from the garage. My question is should I be looking for some other problems this may have caused? What? Where? and how to detect?

Thanks in advance

That is a question that is best answered by a CAT technician.

I doubt you will have a problem, what do you read on the dip stick now?
If you still indicate overfill drain a little out so it has the correct amount.
I would not drive it until doing this.

Dip stick indicated about 3/4 - 1 inch above full. Yes, had not planned to drive until I remove at least one quart and rechecked. Garage manager was nice enough to offer to come drain the oil and clean the coach. I also considered using my oil vacuum pump to drain if my suction tube is long enough.
