Entry door catching on something

Our 17 Dutch Starís entry door seems to catch on something frequently where there is resistance to close about two inches before the insulation meets and you have to give it an extra push. No apparent catch but Iíve noticed our hinge is rubbing at the top of the door frame, see photo. Any ideas?Click image for larger version

On mine, that door stay was catching on the top of the door, not the frame, but with the same affect. You need to adjust it so it clears both.

Mine did the same thing, while at Newmar they pulled down on it and no more rubbing.

I had the same problem when I took delivery. A tech came out and pulled down on it at the middle joint a couple of times.

It's been perfect ever since.

Open the door about a foot and grab the end where the two bars meet (triangular end) and give it a firm, but not hard pull downward. It only needs to move a little to clear the door frame. If not enough, do it again. If you don't feel like it's moving, open the door a little more.

When it won't shut, the arm is running directly into the door frame, versus sliding under the frame, which causes that wear mark.

Good suggestions above, but...

...when we tried the adjustment, the hinge pin popped out. We replaced the door stop with a new one from Lippert, and they ainít cheap; north of a hundred bucks for a couple of pieces of metal bar stock. I brought the old one back home and investigated how I might repair it, but it just didnít look feasible. These door stops apparently do wear out at the hinge pin, so this may be a periodic maintenance item.
