Entry door latch lock open

We’re having a problem with the entry door staying open.
It has gradually gotten looser this month.
It seems like there should be a catch mechanism at this joint?

Is there an adjustment section in Newgle we're missing?

Going by recollection and prior posts I think the small horseshoe detail in the middle of the arm should grab onto a pin. That wears with time. Maybe it can be bent a little? Otherwise replace the arm.

The catch in the center of the hinge gets worn out and you have to replace the entire mechanism. Reach out to any NIRVC parts department for assistance with the a replacement parts.

You can spend $120 for a replacement arm or a nickel on a “small” plastic tie wrap placed very tightly around the “post” that slides into the “C” shaped opening…cut off excess tie wrap. I did this 3 years ago on a Ventana 4369 and it’s still working perfectly

I replaced mine last year and ordered it from PLT engineering.
