Entry door/screen door issue ‘21 DS

I know exactly what the problem is. The screen door latch is engaging the catch and not allowing me to open the entry door from the outside. I will need to adjust the screen door handle catch.

The problem is I can only open the entry door 3/4” or so. I need ideas on how to operate the screen door mechanism to free up the screen door so i can open the entry door.

Dragging my sorry butt through the driver’s side window is not an option.

When mine did that the door was pretty much stuck fully closed.
I gave it a pretty hard push and it came open.
I put some lock tight on the bolts after that.

I would check to make certain that the deadbolt is not extended and catching.

To engage with the screen door latch, perhaps a piece of stiff plastic sheeting (envision a large credit card) slid in the door frame and moved up to open the screen door latch would work.
