Have found the owners manual on line, showing screens etc, but have found no operating guide on how to use the clock. Could someone provide me a link. Thanks

There are files for the E-PLEX System in QT's 1 & 2 here is one of them.
Do not think you have Silverleaf system that is in QT's # 3.

I was talking to Newmar customer support a couple of days ago and the gentleman i was speaking too mentioned that once the extended warranty period of your Eplex system is past (6 years i believe) they will send you the Eplex control software. For those experienced and brave enough to try!

That's great to hear! We have one more year to go. Since our coach is 6 model years old, maybe we can get it early.
Thanks,
Sue

You can get the software off the internet. I don't think they are going to give you their ELC program for the coaches.

Just got off the phone with Newmar. Yes, you can get it. Press pref button and look what version you have and they will E-Mail it to you. WHOOPIE

A generic version yes, but not the specific one for your coach if your coach is not standard, like ours.

Not generic,it is their Dealer ELC programing code for my E-Plex. You can now screw it up yourself. You have to just let them know if it is propane or all electric and the Version #. Mines VER 1.1 never been updated but don't need it updated. Just want to trouble shoot or change my settings instead of driving 300 miles round trip to dealer. Call Carl @ 866-463-9627. He's going to keep a file because he knows I'm not going to be the first one that requests it. And he didn't say it had to be 6 years old first. It just has to be Ver 1.5 or lower.

I was saying the version on the internet is a generic version, not the one Newmar gave you.

Hi All,
Another thread mentioned that Newmar was now sending the e-plex original files to owners for there coaches if requested. Not sure if this is true but I wanted to give back to this forum my e-plex programing experience.
We have a 2008 King Aire (bought in 2014) and I had eplex service at Newmar in 2014. Leon worked on it AND I flew in Jim Kelly (RIP) from PRC to debug the system for 2 days. Newmar had several major wiring errors in the system (ghost in the machine) that Jim found and were corrected and our Eplex is rock solid since (except for occasional sensor failure which I service/replace).
In the end I requested and got all the original Newmar programs.
These were the main elc, lighting elc, tps, ely, and various hex files to reload programs into various eplex modules. I had these programs before
Newmar sent some to Nauti-Tech who I talked to techs over the years.
I have been making/modifying programs for our coach for several years.
Example, reprogrammed one wall touch panel so one button turns on/off all valance lights. I have brought dead eplex modules back to life using these files.
Calibrating tank sensors and temperature sensors.
Changing dimmer speeds after switches from halogen to LED.
Reducing the bedroom display on time from 5 min to 1 min (probably the best change I made!).
I can say, if you have a programing background, you can work with this. I have not been able to find a training manual, just basic program control.
Before you leap into programing, you can mess up the system if you press the wrong key on your PC when you are connected to your main ecm or the lighting ecm (we have 2 ecm's in our king aire) as I did one time.
I had only on leg of the eplex system connected to the main ecl which i was monitoring live on my laptop. I managed to change the address of ALL 7 eplex modules to the SAME address. I Had to find each module at its physical location in the coach, disconnect them all and reconnect them one at a time and readdress them with there correct address. Some modules are a true Easter egg hunt to find.
Anyway, if Newmar is giving you all the programs thats great. If they just give you the main elc and lighting elc that good too for back ups.
I do not have the knowledge to work on eplex programing to other coaches like Nauti-Tech does. I just fiddle with my own system.
Larry
