Erratic HDMI splitters with DirecTV and Visio TV on Ventana 4037
Picture watching recorded program from DirecTV HR44 and changing channels. You continue hearing a stuttering repeat of last audio from recording while watching live program on new channel. When the stuttering stops the audio from the new channel is out of sync with video. This can only be corrected by hitting rewind/pause then play.
I know there are others with same equipment setup - is anyone else experiencing this?
(Similar loss of sync can occur if a glitch occurs in program.)
Thanks
Bob

Does it irrespective of hdr attached tried an HR24 same result. This never happens without the hdmi splitters in line.

HDMI can be tricky, remember they are for copy protection, the cable carries both sound and picture. I have had no luck with HDMI splitters. I use a converter HDMI to component, still have HD and surround sound.

I just replaced the HDMI cable between DirecTV receiver and the HDMI splitter. Problem appears to have taken a vacation😎
