Essex hydraulic entrance steps

I have a friend who would like to turn off the hydraulic steps while parked at their summer lot. They have a wooden entrance steps they pull up to the coach and would like the hydraulic steps to either stay out or in.... but not activated by the door or key.

If your friend will look in the first compartment on driver's side and look for a 5 amp fuse for step controller. That might do the job on the steps, but might disable jacks too. I have not tried so this is just what was passed down to me.
