A little off topic, someone said Oasis uses a muffler. I wonder if the Oasis muffler can be fitted onto a HH to quiet it up a little? Any thoughts before I write to HH?

Hi All,

I have done some digging on the new Oasis System being used in the 08 product. From what they tell me the biggest differnce will effect you dry campers. The old systems circulator pumps were run on 12volt power. So when voltage would run low it would cause the circultor to run slower and slower causing a build up of carbon. This would cause the system to slowly suficate itself. The Oasis is supposed to run differntly. I am sorry I dont have all the exact info. If you would like more information go to the ITR (internal thermal research) website. They have been intergrated with the old hurricane heating system company.

Aubie,
I now have 3000 miles and in 2 months I have had no problems with my Oasis. You can hardly tell its running. Very quiet, almost no smell.I don't know if the muffler can be retro fitted to a HH.
Thanks, Daryl
