I have a 2006 Essex 4508. I just noticed that the roof-mounted, rear facing spotlight is on. I am embarrassed to say I cannot figure out how to turn it off! Can anybody tell me how to turn it on/off? None of the switches seem to be the answer. None of the coach light switches, none of the dash light switches, not the courtesy lights, not the patio/security lights, nothing. Can one of you gurus help me out?

Do you have a "docking light" switch?

You need the handheld remote controller to operate.

What does it look like? Unfortunately we bought this coach with zero documentation. There were a few unidentified remotes but no identification.

It's a black controller - 2" x 4 1/2". Name on front is GOLIGHT RadioRay.

This morning I searched through the box of miscellaneous remotes in the basement and found one that is like the bottom picture in Shaman52's post above. It didn't work. Bought a pair of 23A type batteries and installed them. Still no joy. Finally shut down the coach 12V at the 'use/store' switch and turned it back on while holding the remote 'on' button and mirabile dictu, It works! Thanks to everyone for your help.
