Euro loft bed by Lippert components install

Has anyone installed a Euro Loft retractable bed as an aftermarket mod in a Newmar class A? Would like to increase sleeping capacity. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum.
What coach do you have and is bed going over driver and passenger seats, have you measurements of bed to fit near front over head cabinets.
Beds Lippert
Your over head studs in walls are 16" on center from the A column of your windshield.
You need room for slide to come in also so a tight fit with LR Slide.

Thanks for your reply. We have a 2015 BayStar Sport model 3306. We were planning on installing it over the front seats. I thought when we were looking back in 2015, Newmar offered an option for a front over seat retractable bed. We measured and it would have to be around 34" by 76" without removing the window curtains. Haven't seen anywhere that the beds are sold retail, but have seen them on Thor and Winnebago. With Covid, it would make sense for us to travel with grandkids and the couch isn't too comfortable. Thanks for your help.

I asked Newmar if they could retrofit in our Baystar. They said the coach frame needed to be reinforced and the cost would be prohibitive. Better to buy a new coach.

Yes Newmar did put them in as a option, my 98 KSCA had one over the seats, not sure where you might find one unless a salvage place for RV's might have one for sale, there is a salvage list by states in link I gave you near bottom of it.
Guess I missed that one this link will have the link for salvage.
