Extending an extended Waranty

I have a Route 66 Waranty that is expiring next month on my 2010 Dutch Aire. It was purchased when coach was new from Lee's RV now Camping World. Any advice on renewals. I checked Good Sam and thought 1 yr for over $2,000 was too pricey.

Hi enjoyrv,
By now, you know the coach. You know how the coach will be used. With the past history and future use (for the next year) it should be easy to make the decision to extend or not. For me, if the coach is behaving itself and the next year's use will be light, do not renew the contract.

If you feel the need to renew your warranty, I would strongly recommend shopping around. $2,000 for one year is a rip off. You should find policies for around $1,000 per year. Mine was $4k for 4yrs. through www.wholesalewarranties.com There's others out there too, that are comparable.

check coachnet--- I found their price to be the best. I have yet to use them, but have a A/C issue that they will be covering.
