What have you come up with that works and doesnt whistle in the wind...for extending the drip spout to keep most of the water OFF the sides..I tried a 4 inch piece of 6G solid copper ground wire with Gorilla glue that set for 2 days with a clamp...came right off...then tried hot melt glue and drove it 10 miles....GONE! Suggestions/fixes most welcome !

Hi! I bought those ugly white extenders from Camping World. They snap right on the gutter end. They work pretty good. They have stayed on for over 5000 miles. I think I will try to paint them. Paul

Paul, Your coach comes with one internal drain that comes out to the right rear of the engine. Unlike the Essex that has one forward also draining to the right front. The MADP '07 requires a level to slight rear tilt to take all condesation to the rear and out the internal. I don't know why they didn't put a front drain also on the MADP, but that's the way it is. So put a touch of a rear tilt and you won't need those gutter spouts.

Correction to my last: The Essex front drain is left front underside.

I use pinch clothes pins... Cost about 5 cents apiece. When they get nasty I replace them. I lose one I replace them all with new. You can get then a the dollar stpre.

Painted the Camping World extenders to match the new coach with plactic spray paint from ACE-works great! Also painted the ugly grey garage door stop provided by Newmar to match!
Has anyone found the plugs that go into the windows(lower sil-driver side)to eliminate the whistling noise? We had them on our Fleetwood but the Newmar windows are different and apparently the window manufacturer does not offer them.

As for runoff, I was referring to condensation and dew on the roof, not the ac condensate, although I did have an apparent problem with the heat pumps causing some sort of roof runoff. Also on mine, I see 2 drain pipes in the rear cap, but only see the left one drip....right clog maybe? Other observations?

I have a 2005 4304. The pass side drain tube does channel water, but for some reason, the configuation of the slope causes condensation to drain between the slide and the entry door (i.e., at the gutter termination). I have seen the pass side drain when the coach is not level. I haven't taken the time to investigate the reason.

Hi Peter! I was wondering why I could not find a front tube. It is good to know about the slight angle. Sometimes after bringing the jacks back up water would be coming out of the hoses. As far as the gutters go I have not experienced AC run off in them. The amount of condensation or whatever is coming off our roof is quite a bit in the AM. Untill I put the extenders on, I used to have huge dirt streaks right down the center of the drivers window (the other side streaked also). Of course right where you look out. I was so mad that Nemwar could not have extended the gutter further foward, and put the longer extenders on the ends of the gutter. The coach came with short extenders on the ends of the gutter. They are just not long enough. By clipping the longer ones on top of the ones already there we solved our streaking problems. Only problem is their are white Paul

I purchased those white extenders from Camping World also. Painted them with a plastic primer, then touch up color for my MH. Looked great for about 5000 miles, then the paint started coming off. Now mostly white...but they do work well.
May try light sanding before repainting to provide more "bite" for primer and paint

Dave, a couple weeks ago the DW had a class to
expand her world, so I had a couple days to hang.
The trim that covers the front and rear clips
has grown black crap on it. I cleaned it once
and there it was again. Talked to my buddy who owns a national paint shop, said go to ACE and
buy the plastic paint. Cleaned it and taped it and painted it, wow, no more black chap.
Awesome looking now, no more stuff to clean.
