Factory service manual?

Hi,

I am thinking about purchasing a project looking for 2003 Newmar Mountain Aire FSM specifically. Looking for wiring diagram as well as plumbing.

Is there such a thing as FSM for motor homes like passenger cars?

TIA

Short answer, no. You might be able to get one for the chassis only (I know Spartan has them for later models), but not for the coach itself. There might be an owner's manual available, but it won't have much detail. Some owners have been able to get wiring diagrams, but they're notoriously inaccurate because they don't have any options or customizations on them. The production team appears to make adjustments to the wiring based on the build list on the fly, without specific new diagrams.

Well we've had two DSDP's one 2000 with FL and CAT 3126 and our present 2002 DSDP with Spartan and Cummins ISC. Both have had Allisons. Have never felt the need for a service manual on either.

Welcome to the forum & irv2.
Here is a Brochure & a Owners Guide for 2003 MADP.

You will find Spartan info and Allison info and Cummins in their respected forums for chassis info. Other Spartan info.

The coach will be on a Mountain Master chassis if a Spartan.
The standard chassis is for a Freightliner chassis.

In my signature below are three links related to a Newmar coach.
Good luck in your hunt and enjoy the forums.

Thank you 007. How often did you guys have to top off your coolant reservoir for Cummins. The one I am looking at is situated at much lower than Min fill mark but still some in the reservoir when cold.

Should I be concerned? Don't know much about diesels read about them a lot but never owned one.
